Sometimes the days can get very busy especially if you have little ones! In the busyness we need to make sure we are still investing in our relationship with our spouse. I love looking for ways to bless my husband in the things I am doing daily and I know it means a lot to him when I take time (even if it’s just a little bit) to do something special for him.

Here is a list I have compiled of 10 ways to bless your husband every single day in hopes that it will be a blessing to you! You can choose to do one of them for each day, or, they are even simple enough that you can do all of them in one day if time allows.

10 simple ways to bless your husband every single day:

Make a special beverage for him to take to work –

If your husband is the type of guy that loves beverages, have fun experimenting with some different things for him to take along with him. Lately I’ve been sending iced coffee in a pint jar. I make it the night before and stick it in the fridge so it is all ready for him in the morning. Try homemade lemonade, iced coffees in different flavors, or if it’s cold out, figure out a way to send hot coffee or tea with him.

Put a love note in his lunch bag –

This takes just a few minutes of your time and is a nice surprise in the middle of the day to let him know you’re thinking of him.

Make the house presentable –

I know this is not always possible but I try to have about 1/2 hour of clean up time before my husband gets home. It’s amazing how much you can get done in 30 minutes of undistracted time! This is when I help my daughter clean up the toys, take care of any dishes that have piled up, and do a quick sweep of the floors. It looks so much better and is usually done very quickly. It also helps me to relax too if our home isn’t a disaster!

Send an ‘I Love You’ text –

At some point during the day make a point to let him know you’re thinking of him, miss him, or can’t wait to see him. Whether it be very short and sweet or long and poetic, it will brighten his day and bring him a smile.

Take a few minutes for yourself / put on something nice –

Wether it’s fixing your hair, putting on clothing that isn’t just for lounging, or a little make-up if that’s what your husband likes. It blesses him and also makes you feel more put together and better about yourself.

Meet him at the door with a smile –

This speaks louder than a thousand words that you are happy to see him home.

Make a nice dinner –

Our husbands love food! What a great way to bless our husband since we have to cook anyway! Make something he really likes and have it ready to serve when he walks in.

Ask him about his day before telling him about yours –

This was one of the many pieces of valuable advice a mom gave me while my husband and I were engaged. It shows that you are interested in hearing about his day and how he is doing before piling on everything that happened in your day, things you have questions about, how the children are doing, etc.

Listen –

As he’s telling you about his day or talking about his interests, ideas, or dreams, really try to listen and be interested in what he’s talking about. Even if it’s something that doesn’t necessarily interest you. It means a lot to have someone that truly listens and seeks to understand what you’re saying.

Give him a massage –

If your husband’s job is physically demanding this is especially nice. I would imagine that most guys appreciate some sort of massage whether it be a back rub, head massage, or a foot rub, depending on what he likes. Even just a few minutes of massage helps to ease the aches and pains of the day away and it feels so good!

Pin it for later!
